CONGRATULATIONS to Jon and Rebecca Lord at 532 Mill Springs Circle for receiving the Yard of the Month.   We are sure that many of you noticed that the view of the backyard from Caldwell Mill Road is almost is good as the view of the front!

Annual Meeting of MSHOA

The following is the date, time and location of our annual Mill Springs Homeowners Association meeting:
Date/Time             March 25, 2012 at 2pm
Locatioin               Christ Church United Methodist
                               5191 Caldwelll Mill Road

At this meeting the budget for the HOA will be discussed and voted on.  There will also be some discussion about upcoming MSHOA events in our neighborhood, Yard of the Month, etc.

YARD OF THE MONTH CHRISTMAS 2011

 

CONGRATULATIONS to Don and Joan Crossett at 1005 Mill Springs Drive for winning the Yard of the Month - Christmas 2011.  I am sure that everyone saw their yard during the Christmas Season since they are located right on the corner of MS Drive and MS Circle.

OKTOBERFEST - 1st Annual

We believe that everyone had a great time.  The crowd was estimated at about 60+ including the kids.  For the kids Jamm provided an "inflatable" bouce house.  In addition there were games for the kids and adults plus food and music.  There were 7 contestants who cooked ribs for the Rib Cook-off contest.  After the judging was done, everyone was given a chance to sample each of the contestant's ribs.  The winner of the Rib Cook-off was Lee Dorrill.  Judging was done by Nick from Shane's Rib Shack (Winn Dixie Shopping Center).

The inflatable bounce house for kids and music was provided by Jamm Entertainment (no charge to MSHOA).  Winner of the Drawing for the free party from Jamm Entertainment was the Kendrick's.

The first of next week, some pictures will be uploaded to the BLOG as a slideshow! 

Thanks to the "Sunshine Committee" (Kerensa, Mary and Trisha) for organizing the event and also thanks to all of the Block Captains and to the residents for the food, paper products, etc.  Also a special thanks to Shane's Rib Shack and Jamm Entertainment.

 

OKTOBERFEST Block Party

Location:       Mill Springs CIRCLE (south end in cul-de-sac).
Activities:      Inflatable sponsored by Jam Entertainment;

                      Food (the Block Captains will contact you);
                      Drinks (bring your own drinks);
                      Games for Kids;
                      Halloween Parade for kids.

RIB COOK-OFF - We need contestants in the Rib Cook-off Contest so you can show us all how good you can smoke or grill ribs.  A "travelling" trophy will be presented to the winner.  This is a chance for someone to be the 1st Annual Winner.   TO ENTER THE RIB COOK-OFF:   If you want to enter your Ribs in the contest please contact John Beck by phone at 437-0987 or email at johnbeck@bellsouth.net.
